Weekly Permaculture (8-13 yr olds)
Tuesday: 10:30AM - 2:30 PM
Start/End: Sep 18, 2024 // June 12, 2025 * 33 Sessions
Location: Spider Lake Road
Join us for an authentic hands-on experience focused on resilient ecosystems. Together, we'll get our hands dirty with a variety of activities that include planting and harvesting, seed-to-table cooking, crafting herbal medicine and Earthworks. The kids will even have the opportunity to set up their own produce stand and learn valuable entrepreneurial skills. This adventure has been designed as an Homeschool Enrichment program and includes engaging written work that complements our hands-on activities.
We'll gather around the fire for storytelling and music, fostering valuable life skills and unforgettable memories. One of the best parts of the day is when we share meals together that we've harvested and prepared as a team. Get ready to explore the wonders of nature while learning and growing together!
