Weekly Permaculture (8-13 yr olds)
Monday: 10:30AM to 2:30 PM
Start/End: Sept 2025 // June 2026 × 31 Sessions
Location: Spider Lake Road
Join us for an authentic, hands-on experience that nurtures both resilient ecosystems and resilient hearts.Designed to cultivate emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and a deep connection to the Earth, this program invites children to discover their unique gifts and grow into their potential.
Together, we’ll explore the wonders of nature while developing important life skills, fostering a sense of purpose, and embracing the magic of learning through experience. Activities include planting and harvesting, seed-to-table cooking, crafting herbal medicine, and Earthworks, all while building a strong connection to the natural world.
Children will also set up their own produce stand, honing entrepreneurial skills, problem-solving, and teamwork. These moments of collaboration and creativity offer a space where each child’s voice and contributions are celebrated, fostering confidence and belonging.
As a Homeschool Enrichment program, our approach blends hands-on activities with reflective written work, encouraging self-discovery and meaningful growth. Around the fire, we’ll share stories and songs, creating a sense of community and shared experience that mirrors the support middle schoolers often seek during times of change.
The highlight of the day is coming together to enjoy meals we’ve prepared as a group, harvesting gratitude alongside our food. These moments deepen connections to both the Earth and one another, helping children recognize the value of shared effort and their place in the greater whole.
This program offers a safe, joyful environment to explore nature, build life skills, and uncover the magic of discovering who you are—together.
