Fish Skin Leather for Families

from CA$10.00

November 30th: 11 AM to 2 PM

This event is for families to enjoy together. Salmon are kin for the Indigenous People of the rivers and coasts of this land; and they were also at the heart of cultures throughout Asia and northern Europe in ages past. Reawaken your connection to the land and show your love for the salmon by creating a beautiful piece of salmon leather that you tan yourself. There will be multiple sensory activity tables for kids of all age. Families with younger kids might want to work on a piece of leather altogether

  • Children 9 and over are welcome to attend Solo

  • Children 8 and under must attend with a parent

  • Children 3 and under are free
